In May 2023, I put forward a concept to The Cotswold Savoyards for their 2024 Junior show. I selected Beauty and The Beast, a story that I felt would engage a whole new generation of performers. I then began to work with the director on the creative concept for the show and took charge of directing several scenes within the production. Upon show week, I was the company DSM, coordinating cast, crew and front of house staff to ensure the show ran smoothly and started on time. I also was responsible for cueing the technical elements of the show, including pyrotechnics, whilst keeping the cast safe. The show had a sold out run, playing to over 1,300 audience members across 7 performances at The Cheltenham Playhouse.
